General notes – Question regarding splints

We would suggest we make up some Comfrey Leaf Cream for you. Properly made Comfrey is very good and we have seen really hard lumps that everyone has given up hope of doing anything about rendered soft and recede.

We would suggest rubbing it in sparingly for two weeks, then leaving off for a week and then repeating if necessary. Blistering can occur so do not overdo it

Splints are usually due to a knock or injury rarely Exostosis (Bony out-cropping) as occurs in Humans.

Comfrey will be of benefit whenever a tissue restorative is required, repairing broken bones, strained tendons, connective tissue and lacerated flesh, Comfrey optimises healing by acceleration of mitosis (cell-division). It promotes healing of ulceration anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract and in cases of hernias, colitis and bleeding from the stomach, throat, lungs, bowel and bladder. Comfrey promotes the suppuration of gangrene and is of particular benefit in cases of heavy bruising particularly to the bone. (Take in conjunction with the application of Comfrey Leaf Cream if possible.). Few other herbs or indeed medicines replenish wasted bone cells with the speed of Comfrey.
