Alphatocopherol Vitamin E

The term vitamin E describes a family of eight antioxidants, four tocopherols, alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-, and four tocotrienols (also alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-). Alpha-tocopherol is the only form of vitamin E that is actively maintained in the human body and is therefore, the form of vitamin E found in the largest quantities in the blood and tissue. Alpha-tocopherol is the form of vitamin E that appears to have the greatest nutritional significance.

 Alphatocopherol Vitamin E – is an essential fat-soluble vitamin.  Only chain-breaking lipid-soluble antioxidants which protects the cells from damage caused by free radicals and peroxides - reinforced by the selenium enzyme - glutathione peroxidase.  Reduces oxygen needs of muscles, blood vessel dilator, maintains healthy blood vessels.  An essential nutrient: supplemented for its effects as an antioxidant, in problems of - low fertility, immune enhancement, joint and muscle complaints and applied locally on scar tissue and burns
