Action – Train on a diet of good forage, a suitable auxiliary roughage (Alfalfa Chop/ Pulp etc) and a spoonful each feed of Sweet Minerals. Depending on circumstances also feed a small quantity of Flaked Maize or Mixed Cereal or Goldenmeal (Sweet Minerals and Goldenmeal can be combined in a Seagarden Mixture) and Ashva Mitra especially for 40-mile rides and over. Ashva Mitra will help in making sure that the horse enters the next ride without any debts inherited from the previous one. Very successful Endura formulae for regular 40 mile plus competitions can be made up with Ashva Mitra and Sweet Minerals.
Four days before and whilst away add Travel Mixture to the daily diet and use Ten-Four G during the ride and in the two meals following it.
