A topical preparation for skin support in Horses
Noof is a dark brown oil with a distinctive smell that is a grease at lower temperatures and a fine oil at warm temperature.
Noof has many uses; for sores, harness burns and abrasions, Rain Scald, dry Mud Fever, Itching, Lice, Mange, Ringworm, Thrush and other fungal infections. NOOF is safe when licked. It can also be applied with safely and with a degree of success to Sarcoids, either as they are developing and when some types of sarcoids burst. See also (PNX Spray)
NOOF can be applied to legs with an impregnated cloth as a precaution against fungal infection. NOOF is deadly to 14 different common fungi including Candida (Thrush) Epidermophyton (Ringworm) Athletes Foot (Trichophyton) and Trichosporon( intestinal tract infections) and Geotrichum. (infections of the bronchi and lungs). The soothing anti-pruitic of NOOF will help relieve itching and effectively prevent scratching and rubbing which can result in Sweet Itch.
For the hoof paint NOOF into sandcracks and onto dry flaking or brittle hooves, infected soles and frogs and as a precaution against superimposed infection after shoeing.Tip - Mix NOOF with sufficient Copper Sulphate Crystals (which we can get for you) to make into a paste to apply to frogs and cracks in the hoof.
Noof contains the natural compound Salannin which biting insects hate. It is non toxic, environmentally friendly, bio-degradable and is not harmful to Human beings or animals including domestic pets.
Apply with a suitable brush or cloth retaining it afterwards for further use.
