TRAVEL MIXTURE
Despite its name travel mixture has many uses. Travel Mixture is formulated to help maintain optimum cellular Magnesium and Potassium often compromised by Non-athletic stress particularly travel and change. Losses in cellular Mg effects temperament which can lead to uncharacteristic behaviour when under stress and also in turn can quickly lead to K losses which then effect pre-muscular arteries and subsequent muscle function.
A low molecular weight source of Mg & K on an osmolyte base for travelling horses and competing horses that are lethargic, those recovering from exertional myopathies and horses fatigued due to PKD (Progressive Potassium depletion).
Feed for four days before travelling - during transportation - and for the day after. Whilst away from home stables continue to feed everyday with the regular feed. Travel Mixture may be fed on a continual basis if necessary. Feed to new arrivals to the yard for a period of 10 day and to those horses recovering from tying up (with L94) and to lethargic horses. Feed in preparation for an endurance rides then during the ride and in the two feeds following switch to Trinity Ten-Four-G (Na based electrolyte).
