RECOVERY MIXTURE
A low molecular weight source of Mg & K plus L-Glutamine on an osmolyte base for horses recovering from surgery and illness.
Feed as horses start to recover from illness particularly following surgery, injury or a period of stress that has resulted in deterioration of health or condition. Feed for at least a fortnight in conjunction with L94 or other feeds as directed.
Comments - Recovery Mixture is formulated to help maintain optimum cellular Magnesium and Potassium often compromised by Non-athletic stress particularly travel, change and illness. Losses in cellular Mg effects temperament and in turn quickly lead to K losses which then effect pre-muscular arteries and subsequent muscle function. Conditionally essential Glutamine becomes a primary nutrient whenever the body undergoes a period of repair for however short a time and is thus invaluable in for horses recuperating from viral or pathological infection, injury, neglect, trauma or the effects of stress.
