Vitex negundo is the five leaved chaste tree and shares the specific properties of it close relative Agnus Castus (Chaste tree or Monk’s Pepper) as a natural hormonal regulator that acts on the anterior pituitary gland, reducing FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and increasing LSH (Luteum-stimulating hormone).
