METABOLIC SIZE AND NUMERICAL CONVERSIONS

The table below helps you make a comparison between the metabolic weight of one horse and another.

Example- If you have a wormer or medicine or any supplement that gives the amount to be administered/fed for a certain bodyweight and your horse is a different bodyweight you can calculate the amount to give to your horse by using the table. If a 500kg horse needs 250ml of a medicine and your horse weighed 300kg then you would need to feed 170ml. For a estimate of your horses weight use the HORSE WEIGHT FINDER.

Notes - The calculations are on a Metabolic weight basis which is relatively accurate for all mammals.
